Quiksilver and Roxy sponsor UKPSA National Junior Surf Championships, Clash of the Groms. This is the final and deciding event on the Nerf Clash of the Groms Series 2017.
The event is scheduled to take place at Fistral Beach, Newquay 25th 26th November and will attract surfers from all over the UK and beyond to compete in this annual event and final major surf competition in the UK this year.
The Nerf Clash of the Grom Series comprise of four UK Pro Surf Association (UKPSA) events: Surfaced Pro at Watergate Bay, UK Schools Surf Championships at Fistral Beach, Thurso Surf Festival at Thurso area (Dunnett Beach, Melvich and Sandside Beach) and now Quiksilver Roxy Clash of the Groms Finale at Newquay
Each event attracted the best young surfers from across the UK to
compete in seven divisions: Under 12 Open, Under 14 Girls, Under 14 Boys,
Under 16 Girls, Under 16 Boys, Under 18 Girls and Under 18 Boys.
The event aims to promote progressive surfing with the Judging criteria focusing on quality of manoeuvres. The tabulation will count the best two waves with highest scoring wave doubled.

The Night of Sunday 26th will see the UK Surf Awards crowning Britain’s top surfers for their efforts in 2017.
