Jay Quinn gives a thumbs up to his supporters
Last weekend saw some challenging waves at Watergate Bay for competitors in the first stop on the UKPSA Pro Surf Tour. But eventual winner, Jay Quinn made it look easy, slipping through the early rounds without much effort and absolutely smashing it in the final with the highest scoring wave of the whole event.
But the kiwi import let slip in this interview with Sam Smart just before the final that he hadn’t actually surfed much before the event due to an achilles heel injury. Don’t know about you, but we couldn’t see it affecting his performance!
